[INDIE GAMES VN AWARDS 2025] INTRODUCING CATEGORY #1 - Best Action Game

The Best Action category honors the games that deliver the most outstanding action experience. It is where every button press has a critical impact that determines the character's future, every dodge is intense, and every strike leaves a clear mark.

These are not just games with many combat sequences, but titles that truly understand the art of action game design: how to make every fight feel distinct, and how to make the player feel the victory with the greatest pride. Instead of imposing fixed standards, we choose to ask questions to let both IGVN and you reflect on the emotions and make a more confident voting decision.

🔸What are the questions we consider? 1. Experience: Which title provides a feeling of tension yet excitement in every attack or dodge? 2. Combat Mechanics: Which game is easy for newcomers to pick up, yet challenging enough so that long-term players do not feel bored? 3. Pace: Does the match create a sense of appropriate ups and downs, making it dramatic and engaging? 4. Visuals & Combat Effects: Are the animations and effects in the combat scenes visually stunning enough and memorable?
