Chúng mình lập nên Indie Games VN chỉ vì một lý do đơn giản: yêu Indie Game Việt. Nhưng tình yêu thì phải có hành động. Chúng mình muốn biến nó thành nơi để nhìn lại, để kể lại, và để giữ lại những giá trị Indie thật sự.

Có bao giờ bạn nghe đến một tựa game Việt, thử chơi nó và phải thốt lên: “Ủa, sao cái này hay vậy mà ít người biết thế?” Chính khoảnh khắc ấy, tụi mình hiểu rằng ở Việt Nam, indie game vẫn còn rất mới, nhỏ lẻ, và đôi khi bị lẫn chìm trong vô số thông tin hỗn loạn ngoài kia. Có những game hay thực sự xứng đáng được biết đến, nhưng rồi lại biến mất lặng lẽ vì chẳng ai kịp nghe tên.

Vì vậy, Indie Games VN sinh ra để thay đổi điều đó. Chúng mình muốn đóng vai trò là một “phễu lọc” và chọn ra những sản phẩm thực sự đúng tinh thần indie. Độc lập, sáng tạo, và đầy tâm huyết. Ở đây, chúng mình không chỉ tổng hợp, mà còn kể lại câu chuyện đằng sau từng dự án, phân tích những bài học mà các dev đã trải qua, để bạn, dù là người chơi hay người làm game, đều có thể hiểu và học được điều gì đó.

Sứ mệnh của chúng mình là kết nối cộng đồng Indie Game Việt, đưa những dự án xứng đáng đến gần hơn với người chơi cả trong và ngoài nước, và tạo cảm hứng cho những ai đang ấp ủ giấc mơ làm game. Mục tiêu của chúng mình không phải là số lượng, mà là giá trị. Chúng mình muốn khi bạn nhắc đến Indie Game Việt, bạn sẽ nghĩ ngay đến những sản phẩm chân thật, khác biệt, và tự hào rằng “đây là game Việt”.

We created Indie Games VN for one simple reason: our love for Vietnamese indie games. But love needs action. We wanted to turn that passion into a place to reflect, to tell stories, and to preserve the true spirit of indie.

Have you ever stumbled upon a Vietnamese game, played it, and thought: “Wow, this is amazing, why has no one heard of it?” That was the moment we realized that in Vietnam, indie games are still new, small, and often lost in the flood of noise out there. Some incredible games truly deserve recognition, yet quietly fade away before anyone even gets the chance to know their names.

That’s why Indie Games VN exists: to change that. We want to be a “filter,” highlighting the works that embody the true indie spirit. Independent, creative, and heartfelt. Here, we don’t just collect and showcase games; we share the stories behind each project, and the lessons developers have learned along the way, so that whether you’re a player or a creator, you can take something meaningful with you.

Our mission is to connect the Vietnamese indie game community, bring deserving projects closer to players both at home and abroad, and inspire those who dream of making their own games. Our goal is not about numbers, but about value. We want “Vietnamese indie games” to instantly evoke authenticity, uniqueness, and pride.
